Program

We run the New York State WIC Vendor Management program, supporting 1,700 grocery stores, corner stores and pharmacies that accept WIC in all of New York State.

Through the program, we oversee all authorized WIC vendors, process applications for new WIC vendors and provide training, monitoring and technical assistance to WIC vendors, participants, and local agency staff.

We work with grocery stores and pharmacies committed to providing food and formula milk authorized by the WIC program.

We ensure that the hundreds of thousands of people enrolled in WIC in New York State are able to shop for groceries in some of the thousands of stores we certify and monitor annually.
