How We Help
Health Insurance
Our Health Insurance Navigators and Facilitated Enrollers provide step-by-step assistance to apply for Medicaid and other subsidized health plans.

A new Public Charge policy is in effect starting September 18, 2026
Public charge applies to some (not all) immigrants who want to get a green card or a visa to come to the U.S. If you are concerned about Public Charge, we strongly recommend you check the following resources:
- Updates from the NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigration Affairs (MOIA): Click here
- “Does it apply to me?” from the Protecting Immigrant Families Coalition: Click here
- Free, and confidential MOIA Immigration Legal Support Hotline at 800-354-0365.
