Lisa Jakobsberg joined Public Health Solutions in October 2016 as the VP of Development and Marketing. In this capacity, Ms. Jakobsberg is chief strategist in building the direction for fundraising, public relations, marketing and brand positioning for Public Health Solutions. She is responsible for increasing the public profile and positioning of the organization as a premier research and service organization. Lisa also leads all fundraising for the expansion of new and existing programs that focus resources to where they are most needed in managing chronic and merging public health issues.
Ms. Jakobsberg previously served as the EVP of Development and Corporate Relations at the National MS Society (NMSS) where she provided leadership in securing over $10 million annual income and achieved a 60% increase in corporate revenue among Fortune 500 companies during her tenure. As VP of Marketing and Business Partnerships at the Food Bank For New York City, Ms. Jakobsberg created and executed a major re-branding and integrated marketing strategy that resulted in widespread public awareness of the mission and a sea change in fundraising.
Prior to her career in nonprofit management, Ms. Jakobsberg worked in public relations, where she led multi-year communication campaigns that produced public policy shifts among national health organizations, including the American Heart Association, U.S. Department of Agriculture and American Academy of Pediatrics.
Ms. Jakobsberg received her BS in nutrition at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
